PATTANTYÚS Gergely Gábor
1972, Pécs, glass designer applied artist
He graduated in glass and ceramic art in 1995 from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts, where his masters were Zoltán Bohus, Márton Horváth and Árpád Csekovszky. He received a master’s degree in 1997. He studied glass art at the College of Applied Arts in Dublin on a scholarship in 2004. He participated in the DLA programme of the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts between 2001 and 2004. He taught at the glass design department of the Secondary School of Visual Arts from 1997 to 2000. He has been teaching modelling and form studies at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (earlier called Hungarian University of Applied Arts) since 1998. He received the Noémi Ferenczy Award in 2020 and has been an art scholarship holder of the Hungarian Academy of Arts since 2021.
