He has been making felt appliqués since 1979. He was a founding member of the Derecske Handicraf Circle in 1996, of which he has been an active member ever since. He regularly exhibits his works and teaches felt appliqué techniques. He received the title of Folk Applied Artist in 2001. In addition to his artistic activities, he is also an active collector and carries out research work. His goal is to revive the profession of the traditional Hungarian felt tailoring and to make the Derecske motifs more widely known. His works have been shown all over the world.
