She was a teacher of geography and drawing. She received the Outstand ing Educator Award as a head teacher developing experimental nationwide programmes. She decorated eggs even as a child using the etching tech nique she learned from her father. She learned wax decoration from Sándor Makoldi, and then discovered the gilded technique. Her over fifty collecting trips resulted in 600 various motifs, and over 2,000 photographs and au dio recordings. She has taught courses and given lectures in Transylvania, Slovakia, Norway and Germany, and has organised several solo exhibitions. She was awarded the title of Master of Folk Art in 2005. She has been a member of the public body of the Folk Art Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts since 2018.
