1945, Püspökladány, bone and horn carver
He chose bone and horn carving as a leisure activity in 1986 to save a beautiful area of old Hungarian material culture as well as its motifs. He carried out research in museums in Debrecen and Budapest, and adapted the knowledge and experience he acquired in this way to objects that can be used today. He loves using the traditional decorative elements of Somogy, Hortobágy and the Upper Tisza Region. He also passes on the best practice of his decades of work to young people. He holds the title of Master of Folk Art. He received the first prize of the Antal Kapoli Sr competition in 2019 and the folkTREND Award in 2022.
