SULYOK Géza Ferenc
1957, Debrecen, painter
He graduated in drawing from the György Bessenyei Teacher Training College in Nyíregyháza in 1983 and in multimedia education from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1997. He has been teaching at the painting department of the Nyíregyháza Vocational School of Art since 1989. Using the language of visuality, in his paintings he strives to formulate the symbols of the two ‘extremes’ in the spiritual/intellectual domain, with the science of previous historical cultures occupying one end of the scale and the rewriting of the iconographic world of the “holographic universe model” known from philosophy on the other. His oeuvre exhibition was held in Debrecen in 2019.
