1990, Budapest, wood carver
He was introduced to woodcarving by his father when he was already as a child. After completing his training as a carpenter, he learnt the skills of folk woodcarving at the Nádudvar Vocational School of Applied Folk Art. As an artist he does not seek to reinvent objects and adapt them for use in the 21st century, but to use their original design and decoration. Recently he has been working with wooden saddles, and making saddles from the Tiszafüred region, as well as saddles dating from the time of the Hungarian Conquest and from the Middle Ages. His work has been presented at several professional exhibitions.
