1993, Miskolc, goldsmith, button maker
He studied at the Budapest School of Crafs, where he learned his trade in the workshop of master goldsmith Richárd Menyhárt. His works were awarded a special prize at the goldsmith competition in Saint Petersburg in 2016, he won a Masterpiece of Hungarian Crafsmanship award for one of his jewellery collections. Since 2017 he has also been restoring unique buttons from the Kunság regions, and mounting gemstones, and in addition he created a brand under the name Gavida jewellery. In 2020, he opened his own workshop in Budapest. In 2021, he received the Pomegranate Award at the National Exhibition of Folk Art in 2021 and was awarded the title Young Master of Folk Art. In the same year, one of his works won him the Masterpiece of Hungarian Crafsmanship award and the classifcation “Masterpiece of Masterpieces”. He is currently a fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
